Color yourself happy...

I have never really agreed with the whole idea of wearing only certain colors (am I a winter? a summer? whatever!). I do wholeheartedly believe, however, that certain colors can change the way you feel about yourself and can affect your mood. Pale blue is a great color for your bedroom, as it is calming and tranquil. A yellow kitchen is always cheerful, and greens tend to make us feel at one with nature. The same principles go for the clothes we wear. We all have a favorite item in our wardrobe that always makes us feel happy, and chances are, it’s a bright color.

Here is a little “color therapy” insight on the top colors to brighten your day.

Orange is fun, playful, and full of energy. It makes a great accent color as well, and can add real punch to an all white outfit. White is the promise of a new beginning. Toss on a new white t-shirt or blouse and you will feel like you are starting the day with a clean slate. Yellow has the same healing qualities as a sunny day. Wearing all shades of yellow will cheer you up and make you feel more happy.
